Here are some rough sketches of two special objects from my novel, Arianrod.
The first is the Bosom of Breath

That little sphere over there is a Guffin's Instrument, and that means that it can store an humongous amount of energy, which would give divine powers to its bearer. The special objects that belongs to each Fragrance (the deities of the world of Compaccia) are Guffin's Instruments too.
The Bosom of Breath was split into five parts by the Petka Svetr ("Five Sweaters"), a covered operations group from the military forces of Fomoria. The five parts were amalgamated into other objects, their names are: the Stone of Brambor, the Spear of Amaranto, the Sword of Lechuga, the Cauldron of Brassica and the Clock of Radicchio (all names have one thing in common, let me know if you discover it!)
Arianrod and Miranda
Arianrod Azareth (not the flying vessel, that one is called Caer Arianrod) and Miranda Zhdanov were two members of the Petka Svetr (the other three are Lukas Voronin, Perro Volovina and Morana Sergeyev).
Arianrod is specialized in designing, planning, construction and maintenance of the machinery that the group uses. Outside the battlefield, she is a toy-maker (as almost everyone from the Azareth family).
Her piece of the Bosom of Breath is the Cauldron of Brassica, the Bringer of Joy, the magical holder from which eternally flows what is needed the most at the time. Or is supposed to, anyway.
Miranda is a Caracal Trainer. She's the scout/silent operative of the group, she likes to do it silently and cleanly. Red-splattered cleanly. Every group has one of these...
Her piece of the Bosom of Breath is the Sword of Lechuga, the last fortress, a shield that follows the infamous the-best-defense-is-to-chop-heads-off strategy.
The second sketch of today is the Sword of Lechuga

The Sword of Lechuga is a blood-thirsty shield that was made from the Bosom of Breath.
The emblem in the center is the symbol of Cerne, one of the five major nations in Arianrod (the other four are Tuatha, Fomoria, Dannan and Gabala).

4. TV System InstallationWhen you watch satellite TV, there are in fact three options. Either you build your own satellite dish system to receive free-to-air broadcasts or you can take advantage of free equipment installation provided when you subscribe for monthly satellite TV program packages with the service providers. The third option which is a new one is to watch satellite TV on PC using software application and internet connection. This is simply the easiest way to watch satellite TV.
The computer can handily supplant the set-top boxes. It has more capability and it does not incur any additional effort or expense. In fact, there is savings to be realized through equipment optimization overall. It would not be long now before TV becomes predominantly accessed through home computers. It's a rare home these days that has no computer with internet access anyway and wouldn't it be novel if TV could come through the computer via the internet too?
In comparison, I recommend the second option. Why? Firstly, you do not need to buy and install any hardware. That takes away the hassle opening up your computer and trying to install a card. Although there is always the external PCTV card, personally I will prefer not to have another device and wiring sitting on my desk
