The piano and the tree

Aye! A drawing made with a black whiteboard marker!
It's a girl practicing her scales, it just so happens that her piano is part of that tree! XD

The tree was supposed to look like a mature rubber tree (Ficus elastica), but it looks more of an amalgam of mutant trees or something... I like it anyhow :3

Have fun!

Arianrod Sketches

Here are some rough sketches of two special objects from my novel, Arianrod.

The first is the Bosom of Breath

That little sphere over there is a Guffin's Instrument, and that means that it can store an humongous amount of energy, which would give divine powers to its bearer. The special objects that belongs to each Fragrance (the deities of the world of Compaccia) are Guffin's Instruments too.
The Bosom of Breath was split into five parts by the Petka Svetr ("Five Sweaters"), a covered operations group from the military forces of Fomoria. The five parts were amalgamated into other objects, their names are: the Stone of Brambor, the Spear of Amaranto, the Sword of Lechuga, the Cauldron of Brassica and the Clock of Radicchio (all names have one thing in common, let me know if you discover it!)

Arianrod and Miranda

Arianrod Azareth (not the flying vessel, that one is called Caer Arianrod) and Miranda Zhdanov were two members of the Petka Svetr (the other three are Lukas Voronin, Perro Volovina and Morana Sergeyev).

Arianrod is specialized in designing, planning, construction and maintenance of the machinery that the group uses. Outside the battlefield, she is a toy-maker (as almost everyone from the Azareth family).
Her piece of the Bosom of Breath is the Cauldron of Brassica, the Bringer of Joy, the magical holder from which eternally flows what is needed the most at the time. Or is supposed to, anyway.

Miranda is a Caracal Trainer. She's the scout/silent operative of the group, she likes to do it silently and cleanly. Red-splattered cleanly. Every group has one of these...
Her piece of the Bosom of Breath is the Sword of Lechuga, the last fortress, a shield that follows the infamous the-best-defense-is-to-chop-heads-off strategy.

The second sketch of today is the Sword of Lechuga

The Sword of Lechuga is a blood-thirsty shield that was made from the Bosom of Breath.

The emblem in the center is the symbol of Cerne, one of the five major nations in Arianrod (the other four are Tuatha, Fomoria, Dannan and Gabala).

This is Me!

My photo
I am Diogo! When I'm not drawing and/or laughing, you may find me in a dark room, playing videogames or watching a disney movie. My greatest addictions are shopping, the pronoun "I" and inline skating (just don't ask me to do tricks just yet). I love my friends, but it takes someone a lot of patience and good will to endure me!
